2022 Breeders Championship |

Posted on : Tuesday June 14 2022 This year's Breeders Invitational Championship, Futurity, and Jerry Kilgore Puppy Classic were held on the Sportsman's Association grounds near Grovesprings Mo. We started on Wednesday February 9th and ran through Sunday the 13th. We had a total of 88 entries for all three classes. With the help of the Missouri Bird Hunters and NBHA officers and spouses we had no issues getting through these dogs in a timely manner. The dogs were on the line and ready to go. Birds were planted. With Mr. Andy Neria from Kansas and Mr. Tim Penn from Missouri sitting the saddle watching all the excitement we had a great time with these future prospects. Posted on : Tuesday June 14 2022 We had 35 entries for this year's Futurity. Our judges were Mr. Tim Penn from Missouri. Mr. Penn scratched his entry after the draw to step in and help judge. Mr. Andy Neria from Kansas was our other judge. These are 2 very capable and confident judges that know what they are looking at. They are looking for next year and future years Champions. We started the qualifying Friday after announcing our Championship and lunch. We ran Friday and completed our 17th brace on Saturday. Read More |

Posted on : Friday December 10 2021 This year's 35th NBHA Futurity was held at Robert E. Talbot Conservation area near Mount Vernon, MO. We drew 16 entries from as far away as New Jersey, South Carolina, and Wisconsin. We started Friday February 26th at 8:00 am. The weather was perfect for handler and dogs. Our judges would be Tim Penn from Edina, MO and Andy Neria from Savonburg, KS. These judges were picked for their open-minded views. There's a lot of things for these gentlemen to look at. 2014 28th NBHA Futurity |

Posted on : Wednesday April 2 2014 The NBHA Futurity held its annual trial on March 28th and 29th at Whetstone Wildlife Management Area in Williamsburg Missouri. Emerging as the winner was Handsome pointer female Hog Hill Katie for her proud owner Timothy Cavanaugh. Katie was expertly handled by Garry Malzone. Taking second was Shokamo, setter male handled by Bobby Taylor. Third went to Indian Creek Spanish Fly handled by Garry Malzone for owner Angelo Markopoulos. Fourth place went to Jim Wirths and his handsome pointer male, Mcilhenny. Judging the Futurity was Chuck Davis of Madrid, IA and Dr. John Niebrueggee of Kirksville, MO. Read More |
