2025 Futurity, Breeders Championship and Jerry Kilgore Puppy Classic was held again at the Sportsman's Association grounds near Grove Springs Missouri. The cover was not as thick this year as in past years but it was absolutely sufficient. These grounds are so nice to watch our dogs hit the lines and move forward. The grounds have plenty of outside kennels, horse stalls, electric hookups. The bunkhouse has separate judging rooms, plenty of bunk beds, fully functioning kitchen, restrooms and hot showers. These things are more than adequate for a bird dog guy. We drew a total of 118 dogs for all three classes. This is a record for me. I would like to thank our handlers for their consideration of the workers, judges, and other handlers being on the line ready to go. It is so important to getting all these Braces done in a timely manner. This year's Breeders Championship had 53 dogs entered. We had to start on Tuesday planning seven braces a day with number eight on standby. Our judges Howard Burbach and Brian Kennedy endured many hours in the saddle and some very harsh weather. Thank you, two gentlemen so much. This is also my first trial that I heard no complaining. So, I guess our judges get a pat on the back for this one.

It was a "Sweet Sixteen" Party in the 2023-2024 NBHA Breeders’ Invitational Championship for pointer male PURE CONFIDENCE owned by Black Meadows Kennels and Indian Creek Kennels professional handler Garry Malzone. This is "Tango's" 16th lifetime championship. Runner-up champion of this years Breeder's Invitational Championship came from under the whistle of Power House Kennels professional Justin Crook for owner John Gaines in the form of pointer male UNFINISHED BUSINESS.

This year's National Breeders Invitational Championship was held on the beautiful grounds of the Grovesprings Sportsmans Association in Grovesprings Missouri. We drew 36 dogs for this championship and started Wednesday February 15th. Our judges for this year were Mark Livingston from Central City Iowa and Ken Chenoweth from Fairgrove Missouri.

This year's Breeders Invitational Championship, Futurity, and Jerry Kilgore Puppy Classic were held on the Sportsman's Association grounds near Grovesprings Mo. We started on Wednesday February 9th and ran through Sunday the 13th. We had a total of 88 entries for all three classes. With the help of the Missouri Bird Hunters and NBHA officers and spouses we had no issues getting through these dogs in a timely manner. The dogs were on the line and ready to go. Birds were planted. We had 35 entries for this year's Futurity. Our judges were Mr. Tim Penn from Missouri. Mr. Penn scratched his entry after the draw to step in and help judge. Mr. Andy Neria from Kansas was our other judge. These are 2 very capable and confident judges that know what they are looking at. They are looking for next year and future years Champions. We started the qualifying Friday after announcing our Championship and lunch. We ran Friday and completed our 17th brace on Saturday.

This year's 35th NBHA Futurity was held at Robert E. Talbot Conservation area near Mount Vernon, MO. We drew 16 entries from as far away as New Jersey, South Carolina, and Wisconsin. We started Friday February 26th at 8:00 am. The weather was perfect for handler and dogs. Our judges would be Tim Penn from Edina, MO and Andy Neria from Savonburg, KS. These judges were picked for their open-minded views. There's a lot of things for these gentlemen to look at.

This year's event was held on the manicured grounds of Palmetto Quail Club in Pamplico, S. C., owned by gracious owner, Rodney Poston. Rodney shared his property to allow NBHA an opportunity to expand participation on what may be one of the largest walking trials in some fifty years.
