2011 25th NBHA Futurity
Throughout the week there are several side events that deserve mention. The previous year’s winner of the Puppy Classic hosts a dinner and happy hour. Well known owner of National Champion Lester’s Snowatch, Gary Lester was a welcome visitor one and kept us entertained with his great stories. Chef Gebhardt and Jason Kemna fried catfish and French fries until everyone got their fill. There were unsubstantiated rumors that the cooks had a secret stash of crappie filets for their private consumption. Who knows? I can promise you however that it was a fine meal!
