CH Curvin's Cloudy Knight

June 1982 - May 1997 - Pointer Male

Curvin’s Cloudy Knight, “Hank” was owned by Jimmy and Dot Curvin of Weaver, AL and was handled by Jimmy Curvin throughout Hank’s career. Hank ran in both NBHA and in
horseback trials but his big wins were in the NBHA. Hank is the only dog in the history of the NBHA to have won the NBHA National Open Championship two years in a row. He did that in 1985 and 1986 and was the RU in the NBHA National Open in 1988. Hank was the winner of the NBHA National Open Invitational Championship on three different occasions. With six placements in National trials Hank won five times with one runner-up. Hank won the NBHA Southeast Regional Championship in 1986 and was a RU winner on two different occasions in the NBHA North Central Regional Championship. With all the winning that Hank had tallied up in his career, it provided the opportunity for him to win the NBHA Open Shooting Dog of the Year award.

Hank became a celebrity among various outdoor news media as there have been several articles on his winning performances. Louisiana Conservationist and Gun Dog are just a few who have featured articles on Hank’s winning and the NBHA organization.
