CH L's Busy Bee

Pointer Female - 5/16/99 - 10/2010

L's Busy Bee, pointer female was bred by Randy Williams of Fairland, OK. "Bee" was sired by Sequoyah Doc and her dam was the high producing female Sooner Bandit. Bee's first owner was Larry Arthur of Sapulpa, OK where she acquired her first National Championship and a RU National Championship. He later sold Bee in the fall of 2004 to Joe and Brenda Nowlin of Grove, OK. Most of Bee's championship placements were handled by pro handlers; however Bee was named RU Champion under the handle of her owner Joe Nowlin in the NBHA National Amateur Championship 2006.

One of the most remarkable accomplishments about L's Busy Bee was that she could hunt and be handled by anyone, and she could achieve this with success. Bee is the only dog in NBHA history to have placed four times, 2003 Winner, 2004 RU, 2005 RU, and 2008 Winner at the NBHA National Open Championship and to do it under the guidance of four different handlers. Bee won the NBHA Open Shooting Dog of the Year award for the 2002 - 2003 trial season.

Bee's was an exciting performer, her style was second to none and her performance record of 26-6- 21 is worth noting as she was a mother as well as a competitor. Bee's championship record shows her placing eight times with 4 Champions and 4 RU Champions during her career.
