Stars Align in Missouri at Breeders, Futurity, & Classic

It was a "Sweet Sixteen" Party in the 2023-2024 NBHA Breeders’ Invitational Championship for pointer male PURE CONFIDENCE owned by Black Meadows Kennels and Indian Creek Kennels professional handler Garry Malzone. This is "Tango's" 16th lifetime championship. Runner-up champion of this years Breeder's Invitational Championship came from under the whistle of Power House Kennels professional Justin Crook for owner John Gaines in the form of pointer male UNFINISHED BUSINESS.

Future stars aligned and made their bid to be the next generation's highlights in the 38th renewal of the NBHA Futurity with judges calling out Kevin Western's setter male WESTERN'S SECOND CHANCE in first place, setter male INDIAN CREEK 9" NAILS for owner Kevin Griffin and handler Garry Malzone in second, and in third place GSP female MILLER CREEK MIS BEHAVIN for owner/hander Matt Miller.

And in the coveted and always well supported Jerry Kilgore Puppy Classic it was setter male PIKE's AUTUMN PEAK winning the classic for owner Ralph Niemeyer and handler William Wright, followed by pointer female BANDIT HILL BESS for owner/handler Klaus Schmidt, pointer female INDIAN CREEK TOMBOY in third place for owner Timothy Cauley, and in fourth place WOODSWAY STINGIN RAIN a setter male for Eryn Pearson.

Congratulations to all the connections and thank you to our hosts Mr. Jim Ogle (Christian Ogle), the NBHA Futurity panel, and the Missouri Bird Hunters Association along with the greatly appreciated judgment of Mr. Greg Gibson, Mr. Frank Schoenborn, Mr. Bob Burchett, and Mr. Mike Poehler.
