2014 Spring SW Missouri Walking FTC

I would like to start by thanking our sponsors and all involved. The NBHA and AFTCA are great organizations that help support our lifestyle. Thank you, to Purina Pro Plan for their generous support to the NBHA. Thanks to Gun Dog Supply for agreeing to support the NBHA by donating gift certificates to our trial. Thanks to S&H Farm Supply a local company that donated two Kyote UTV's. One was used by my wife Kristi, and daughter Ivy to keep dogs on the line and picked up as needed. Blount County Alabama

The Blount County NBHA trial was conducted on January 25, 2014 in Murphy Valley, AL (on Ken Tolbert’s Training Grounds). Tony Bailey was a first time Field Trial Chairman, with the help of his future wife -Teresa Green, and future Father in Law - Ken Tolbert. Tony's two teenage sons (Riley and Ryan) were the bird planters and go getters...they are two fine boys and we hope to see them running dogs in the near future. Teresa has been raising, training and field trialing birddogs for years and is also a great cook who knows how to keep a trial going. Teresa was aided by her Mother - Pat Tolbert, and they provided a great meal and especially the coconut cake.

There is simply too much snow on the ground to be safe and with possible melting conditions coming this weekend the risk of damaging the grounds is too high. More information will be posted on a make up date as soon as it it available.

North Missouri Field Trial Association

Ideal weather conditions made for a great weekend of field trialing and watching some nice dog work. Only one week earlier and we would have not seen the high temperature not to rise above the single digits. Fortunately this weekend we had moderate temperatures in the mid-forties and beautiful sunny skies each afternoon. North Missouri Field Trial Association is very thankful for the support shown on this weekend from our participants who were from Missouri, Iowa, and Illinois.
